Jair'Rohm Parker Wells, TR7 & Raphael Xaiver, activating Interior / Exterior Philly
Video Almanac — Free Library of Philadelphia
Excerpt (4 min) | Adam Vocabulary Club Activation
This excerpt documents a live chapter of Video Almanac presented at the Free Library of Philadelphia as an Adam Vocabulary Club activation.
The work is built through field research—walking, listening, and moving through the city to understand its intelligence. The films move non-linearly between Benjamin Banneker’s cosmology and the interior/exterior tensions of Philadelphia: the places we inhabit, and the places that inhabit us.
Cinema here functions as an almanac—assembled from fragments, measurements, encounters, intimacies, evidence, and contradiction.
This activation expanded through live dialogue and improvisation with Parker Wells and fellow Guggenheim Fellow Raphael Xavier, shaping a spatial exchange between sound, movement, and moving image.
Presented as broadcast and documentation, this excerpt reflects a site-responsive format adaptable to libraries, museums, and civic spaces within the broader Field Trips to Staged Productions continuum.
